Good Morning America's Robin Roberts' Mother Has a Memoir

My Story, My Song is the heartwarming memoir of 88-year-old Lucimarian Tolliver Roberts, mother of Good Morning America coanchor Robin Roberts. It details pivotal moments in Mrs. Roberts' intriguing life, revealing how faith in God has given her strength and hope.

Good Morning America viewers have come to know and love Lucimarian Tolliver Roberts. For many, the heartfelt connection began the day after Hurricane Katrina blew through the Gulf Coast. They watched as Robin stood among the remnants of her hometown and talked about her desperate search for her elderly mother, who had ridden out the storm in her Mississippi home.

Robin writes, "Folks are drawn to Mom's humility, wisdom, and spirituality."

Reflections from Robin on her mother's life and faith cap each chapter.

Here is our summer schedule of activitites for children:

Mondays

·       Monday Morning Musings

Learn about new books that have just been released and enjoy trivia, games and crafts.  Special order any books presented in these sessions and receive a 20% discount

·        Rising 3^rd and 4^th graders – 10 am until 11 am

·        Rising 5^th and 6^th graders – 11 am until 12 noon

          Thursdays

·       Story Time with Children’s Authors

10 am until 11 am

Each Thursday a children’s author will be sharing his or her book and a related activity

·       All Ages Welcome!

          Fridays

·       Readin’ and ‘Rithmetic

      

Through games and other activities we will be reviewing skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, skip counting, sequencing, cursive, problem solving, antonyms, synonyms, contractions, consonants and vowels, phonics, and more!
