Our friend and co-worker, Kit, will always be
remembered for her warm smile, her enthusiastic personality, her sense of
humor, her love for children, and the way she lived demonstrating a servant's
heart. We were honored to work with her and call her our friend. Here is a
picture of Kit doing what she loved dearly - sharing her enthusiasm for reading
with children.

purchase and be a hero in our community!
During the months of June, July and early
August if you come in the store you will see a display showing the gender,
grade level, and school of a child involved in the Carolina Kids program. Most
of them are unable to purchase summer reading materials that are on the summer
reading list for their schools. We are offering a 20% discount on the purchase
of any summer reading books for these children. Just come by sometime and pick
out a few books to contribute in Kit Gering's memory and they will be delivered
to Carolina Kids.
