Sara Odom signing copies of her new children's book
Absolutely Adorable

Sara Odom is a Hartsville native. Presently she is Professor of Education and the Elementary Education Program Coordinator for the Wiggins School of Education of Coker College. Sara teaches language arts methods classes to teacher candidates and supervises student teachers. Prior to transitioning to higher education full-time, she taught in the public schools of Darlington County School District for twenty-five years.

Sara is married to Phillip, also a Hartsville native, and they have four grown children and eleven grandchildren. The Gram Series is about their eleven grandchildren. Although the books are fictional, their stories are based on real life experiences.

Sara comments, "Burry Bookstore is one of my favorite book signing sites. Burry's represents home, Hartsville, and home is where my heart is! Emily Phillips and the Burry Bookstore staff always make my book signing event special. Thank you, folks! I would also like for our Hartsville family to know that Absolutely Adorable! is about the three children of our son Billy. Many have asked when Dr. Billy's Gram book was published to let you know. Well, this is it! Please come by Burry's and get a copy from our favorite bookstore!"
