Happy New Year! We appreciate your business and look forward to
serving you in 2013!
2012 was a year full of events, as you will see below, and we
celebrated our 40th Anniversary at Burry Bookstore! If you haven't signed our
guest book sharing your favorite memories of the last 40 years at Burry's,
please do that the next time you are in. We have enjoyed reading the comments
our customers have made as special memories have been recorded in our keepsake
book.
Burry Bookstore launched into the e-book world in 2012 and it has
been interesting to see the various responses we have received. Many customers
are still not ready to venture that far, but are intrigued enough to try our
demo models. Others of you have been reading e-books since they were first
available and we are glad to now be able to offer you the option to do that
while still supporting Burry Bookstore.
If you are interested in purchasing an e-reading device, come by
and let us give you a demonstration. Already have a device on which you
download books? Start buying them from Burry's and keep your dollars in
downtown Hartsville! Prices are comparable to Amazon, there are free apps for
your IPad, IPhone, Android, Nook, PC and Mac. Follow this link to register online and start buying your e-books from Burry's! Once you set up your
account through this link all of your purchases will be associated with Burry
Bookstore and you will be able to support your local independent bookstore no
matter what reading format you choose!
